Application for Scholarships
Types of Scholarships (MFA applicants and students only)
1. Transart Institute scholarships
Four $12,000 scholarships (50% of tuition) will be awarded.
Awards will be made to accepted students on a basis of both, academic/artistic merit and financial need to four artists from developing countries. A list of countries can be found here. Award recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress and not have violated any academic standards and policies. Note: scholarships do not cover travel or accommodation expenses and are for 50% of the yearly tuition. Students are responsible for finding additional assistance resources if needed. All scholarship applicants are evaluated by a scholarship selection committee.
Four $3,000 scholarships (25% of annual tuition) will be awarded each year.

Tuition scholarships are payed directly to students once they have payed their full tuition to DUK. All scholarship applicants are evaluated by a scholarship selection committee.

2. Danube University Krems Scholarships
Two 50% scholarships ($12,000 each) will be awarded to students from Eastern Europe.
Award Conditions: "Danube University Krems regards advanced education as a social and educational challenge. Our goal is to offer postgraduate University education of the highest standard for all those persons who view lifelong learning as a personal necessity. Therefore, for every offered course Danube University Krems offers two scholarships from its own resources. The study grant is focused on applicants from eastern Europe and future member countries of the European Union. There is no age limit for application."

3. Lehan Ramsey Japan Scholarship
One scholarship of $700 will be awarded to a student from Japan.
Award will be made to an accepted student with primary residency in Japan, regardless of citizenship, on a basis of academic/artistic merit. Award recipient must maintain satisfactory academic progress and not have violated any academic standards and policies. Tuition scholarships are payed directly to students once they have payed their full tuition to DUK. All scholarship applicants are evaluated by a scholarship selection committee.
